<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to refer to a moved document via a shortcut of a document before the movement even if the document is moved between document management servers. <P>SOLUTION: A database 11 in each of the document management servers 1-1 to 1-3 accumulates documents under command of owner objects 111, 121-131 defining a unit of storage change of the documents. A directory 21 manages correspondence between an owner ID of the owner object and a service ID of the document management server including the owner object, and the directory 21 is updated in compliance with the storage change of the document. The shortcut of the document has a pair of an instance ID of the document, the service ID of the document management server, and the owner ID of the owner object as link destination information. Use of an old shortcut by a user of a client terminal 3 results in an error, however, the client terminal 3 notifies the directory server 2 of an old service ID for obtaining the latest service ID, and then, accesses the document management server matching the service ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
