PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switchgear used for various electronic equipment capable of switching by one hand and with only simple pressing operation, and to provide electronic equipment using the same. SOLUTION: In the switchgear 32, a movable cam 13 of a movable body 12 by energizing a spring 11 is elastically contacted with the predetermined position of a fixed cam 15 of a sliding body 14, so that the moving body 12 is energized in the opening direction in an opening state and energized in the closing direction in a closing state. An operating body 26 is operated by pressing when the moving body 12 is in the closing state so that an operating cam 27 comes in contact with a transforming cam 23 of a releasing body 19 to rotate and move the releasing body 19. The releasing cam 20 is removed from the supporting cam 16 of the sliding body 14 followed by a rotational movement of the releasing body 19, the sliding body 14 slides in the direction of a fixed body 21, and the moving cam is elastically contacted with the a reversing cam 18 of a reversing body 17 to energize the moving body 12 from the closed direction to the opening direction.
