PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve estimation precision of engine-generating torque based on a detection value of intake air quantity, and thus improve speed change controllability by grade resistance computed based on the engine-generating torque. SOLUTION: Different moderating degrees (time constants) are set depending on if intake air quantity Qa detected by an air flow meter is changed to increase or decrease, and moderating control (low-pass filter treatment) for the intake air quantity Qa is conducted based on the moderating degree (time constant). Engine-generating torque Te is then estimated using the intake air quantity QaF after the moderating control. Driving force is computed using the engine-generating torque, and grade resistance is computed based on the driving force. Switching of speed change maps or the like is thus conducted in accordance with the grade resistance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
