PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain miniaturization and reduction of a manufacturing cost in a filter for eliminating foreign matter in a fluid flowing in a flexible hose insert- connected to the outer surface of a pipe. SOLUTION: The filter 3 is formed of material with sealing property, mounted between the pipe 1 and hose 2 and fastened jointly with the pipe 1 and hose 2 by a clamp 4. Since the filter 3 is jointly fastened between the pipe 1 and hose 2 by the hose clamp 4, the filter 3 can be held in the hose 2 without needing a conventional metal case. Moreover, since the filter 3 is formed of the material with sealability, fluid leakage from a clearance between the pipe 1 and hose 2 can be prevented. With this filter, the conventional metal case is disused to attain miniaturization and reduction of a manufacturing cost. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
