摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing which ensures longer bearing service life even under the environment where water content is mixed into lubricant. SOLUTION: A surface C weight percentage of a rolling surface of a rolling element is decreased down to make smaller than a surface C weight percentage of a raceway surface of at least fixed ring among bearing rings, thereby reducing its tendency to produce holes on the raceway surface, and even if holes are produced on the rolling element, water content which has invaded into the inside is designed to flow out by centrifugal force as well, thereby retarding hydrogen generation type corrosion reaction to prevent detachment. Assuming that deduction of the surface C weight percentage of the rolling surface from the surface C weight percentage of the raceway surface is a difference in surface C weight percentage, if a surface C weight percentage is preferably within the range of 0.05 to 0.31 rather than 0.1 to 0.35, further longer life can be achieved.
