PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for correctly diagnosing irregularities in a bearing at an early stage before occurrence of abnormal conditions such as seizure. SOLUTION: A moisture sensor is provided in the vicinity of a bearing part in the bearing device for rotatably supporting a rotation shaft by lubrication of an oil film. When the moisture sensor detects moisture around the bearing and the amount of detected moisture exceeds a threshold value, an alarm is issued. Thus, a precursory phenomenon of abnormal conditions such as occurrence of breaking of the oil film by moisture invasion into the oil film can be detected, and the abnormal condition can be determined correctly at an early stage.
