<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference voltage generation circuit, a display driving circuit, a display device, and a reference voltage generation method capable of securing charge time necessary for driving and reducing consumption current by a ladder resistance used for γ-correction. <P>SOLUTION: The reference voltage generation circuit 48 outputs multi-valued reference voltages V0-VY by a ladder resistance circuit connected across a 1st power supply line to supply high potential side power supply voltage (1st power source voltage) and a 2nd power supply line to supply low potential side power supply voltage (2nd power source voltage) VSS. The ladder resistance circuit connects a plurality of resistance circuits in series. The 1st variable impedance circuit 70 of the reference voltage generation circuit 48 varies the 1st impedance value (resistance value) between the 1st power supply line and the j-th (j: an integer) dividing node. The 2nd variable impedance circuit 72 of the reference voltage generation circuit 48 varies the 2nd impedance value (resistance value) between the k-th (1≤j<k≤i, k: an integer) dividing node and the 2nd power supply line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
