<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device in which the film deposition relating to image forming is uniformalized. <P>SOLUTION: The electro-optical device (1) for displaying information by individually driving a plurality of pixels arranged two-dimensionally is provided with a pixel group (20) in an effective display area (2) for displaying the information among the plurality of pixels arranged two-dimensionally, a pseudo pixel group (30) which are adjacent to the effective display area and do not contribute to displaying the information, and a bank film (61) for separating the pixel group in the effective display area and each pixel of the above pseudo pixel group, and also preventing light from leaking between adjacent pixels in the above effective display area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
