PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo manned security system for starting operations by informing existence of a suspicious-looking person by a dweller of a housing complex and for separately performing monitoring/challenge/leaving persuasion, etc., on the side of a security management center different from an informer. SOLUTION: In the pseudo manned security system, a monitoring means that pictorially and acoustically monitors a monitoring area, a message means to be operated by the dweller of the housing complex and a voice generation means to be operated from the side of the security management center are provided in the housing complex and the housing complex is coupled with the security management center by a transmission means. The information means is preferably the one to be operated by a remote control switch incorporated in a key, etc., for entrance/exit of the dweller of the housing complex in a dwelling space. In addition, the information means is preferably the one by which an acoustic monitoring means and the voice generation means among the monitoring means to be operated are selected in accordance with focal point control information in an image monitoring means among the monitoring means.
