PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a storage capacity necessary for an image processor for outputting an image and a required time until display. SOLUTION: Terminal equipment 24 is operated by a user, and supplies image data request information and a profile for an output device through a network 23 to an image providing server 21. In order to enable the terminal equipment 24 to perform optimum color reproduction, the image providing server 21 applies image processing to image data based on a profile for an input device acquired from a data base 22 and the profile for an output device acquired from the terminal equipment 24. Then, the image providing server 21 supplies the image-processed image data through the network 23 to the terminal equipment 24.
