PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detecting device capable of doubly increasing resolution without reducing a magnetization pitch. SOLUTION: This rotation detecting device is provided with a multiplier 21 to square an output signal of a sensor 13 to be outputted as a rotation information detection signal, and a comparator 22 to convert the output from the multiplier 21 into pulses.
