The roll (1) consists of a continuous sheet of paper (2) for making into bags and having a weight and strength appropriate to the intended contents. Its surface has lines (3, 5, 6, 7) of a hot-melt adhesive that allow the sheet to be formed into a tube and then into separate bags, each having a mesh panel (11) for ventilation and viewing the contents, stuck round an opening (10) in the paper by a hot-melt adhesive (12). The mesh panel can be of plastic or a recyclable textile material. The adhesive lines are positioned so that the completed bag has a closed top flap (8) with holes (9) to form a carrying handle. |
