<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of applying a specific original forgery preventing function even to a document already stored in a storage device when the forgery preventing device corresponds to a new specific original. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with an image reading means 101 for reading out an image by scanning an original, a storage means 111 for storing picture data read out by the reading means 101, a recognition means 108 for recognizing whether a specific original is included in the picture data or not, a communication means 110 for receiving a control program or data for the recognition means 108 from an external device, and a control means 105 for updating the control program or data for the recognition means 108 to the control program or data received by the communication means 110 and executing the recognition processing of the picture data stored in the storage means 111 after updating these data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
