<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high definition image without any abnormality in the image such as background soiling or toner scattering by keeping down spent of the toner to the carrier and carrying the developer with a stable electrified quantity to a developing range over a long period of time in an image forming apparatus using two component developer. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft torque of a developing sleeve 7 in the two component developing device is from 0.5 to 4.0 kgf.cm, a coating film containing at least binding resin and particles is provided to the magnetic carrier and the particle diameter D and the thickness of the film h of the binding resin is 1<[D/h]<10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
