FLOAT MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR CARBURETOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive float type carburetor for a general engine which is constrained by cost and sizes of components by mounting a float on a barrel with less number of components and assembling processes. SOLUTION: A mounting hole 11 and an inclined guide plane 12 are provided on a supporting piece 3 protruded on the barrel 1 and a protrusion 16 is provided at a rising edge 15 of a hanger 5. The protrusion 16 is guided to the mounting hole 11 along the inclined guide plane 12 with the rising edge 15 being bent and the rising edge 15 is restored when the protrusion 16 is fitted into the mounting hole 11, thereby permitting the float 4 to be mounted in one process without using pins as separate components.
