PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain miniaturization of a connector. SOLUTION: In a process that the female-side connector F is engaged, energizing force of a separating direction is given to the female-side connector F by storing the energizing force in a compression coil-spring 40 by pushing the front end of the compression coil-spring 40, and when the compression coil-spring 40 is insertion-coupled to a regular position, the female-side connector F is locked to separation restrained state by locking a lock arm 24 to the female-side connector F. Since at least one part of the compression coil-springs 40 is accommodated inside the lock arm 24, the connector can be miniaturized in vertical direction or width direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
