PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of reliably establishing communications in the case of transmitting information photographed with a digital camera as color information without allowing an opposite apparatus to be used for a long period of time and enabling an operator of the opposite apparatus to download the information photographed with the digital camera at high resolution when the opposite apparatus is free. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus capable of communicating color information has: a means for informing of the existence of a color information receiving function from a receiver to a transmitter; a means for designating from the transmitter to the receiver transmission of the color information; a means for transmitting the information photographed with a digital camera to the opposite apparatus; and a means for uploading the information photographed with the digital camera to a home page. The communication apparatus is constituted so as to transmit the information photographed with the digital camera also to the home page at the time of transmitting the information to the opposite apparatus.
