<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital information system which enables a student under hospitalization to easily take a lesson and enables a hospital to exactly inform a school of the student's attendance state. <P>SOLUTION: The hospital information system 10 is constituted of a patient database 11 for storing inpatient's identification information, a patient certifying section 12 for certifying the inpatients based on the identification information inputted via bed-side terminals 30, 40, 50,..., a lesson providing section 13 for providing the certified inpatients with lessons of compulsory education via the bed-side terminals 30, 40, 50,..., and an attendance informing section 14 for informing via a communication channel 60, when a hospitalized student under compulsory education performs a prescribed attendance confirmation operation via the bed-side terminals 30, 40, 50,... after taking a lesson, that the student has taken the lesson to an attendance database 21 provided at the school in which the student is enrolled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
