摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery recovering equipment which is capable of removing sulfation deposited on the surfaces of the electrodes of a lead battery for an automobile to recover the capacity of the lead battery to a value substantially equivalent to a virgin state, and further charging a lead battery for an automobile in parallel with sulfation removal. SOLUTION: A command voltage generation circuit 48a generates a charging command voltage from a charging drive command and a charge control command. The charging command voltage is applied to the gate of a transistor IGBT1 through an insulation circuit 48b, a current feedback circuit 48c, and a gate resistor circuit 48d. As the result of this application, a charging current is passed between collector and emitter terminals of the transistor IGBT1. This charging current is a substantially constant base charging current superposed with a charging pulse current which changes substantially like a rectangular wave. Thus, sulfation deposited on the surfaces of the electrodes of a battery is removed by the large charging pulse currents, and the battery is charged without fail with the substantially constant base charging current.
