PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a private branch exchange whose operability/convenience are improved by making it possible to set a transfer destination and an incoming call to be transferred from the place where a user is with a simple operation. SOLUTION: This private branch exchange 1 which houses a plurality of extensions 6 and is connected to a private line 4 and/or a public network 2 to construct a network, has an incoming call transfer controlling means 8 for receiving at least the identification number of the private branch exchange 1, a registration special number, a transfer source extension number 6 housed in the private branch exchange 1, and a transfer registration request including a transfer destination number and a transfer object call type designation number, registers a transfer request including at least the transfer source extension number, the transfer destination number and the transfer object call type designation number, and controls an incoming call of a call type designated by the transfer object call type designation number among incoming calls to the transfer source extension number so as to be transferred to the transfer destination number on the basis of the registered transfer request.
