PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting system in which broadcasting of local material in a slave station is not limited and costs required for broadcasting jobs can be sufficiently suppressed. SOLUTION: In the broadcasting system in which master material MP supplied from a master station M through a communication line N1 is transmitted by a slave station L, local material LP as broadcasting material peculiar for the slave station is supplied through a communication line N2 to the slave station L as well, at such a time, a control signal containing a Q signal for controlling switching of the master material MP and the local material LP is transmitted from the master station M through the communication line N2 to the slave station L as well, and switching of the master material MP and the local material LP in the slave station L can be controlled by the master station M as well.
