The plasma cutter for steel plate has a central nozzle (1) to feed a cutting gas containing oxygen and an intermediate nozzle (2) forming an electrode (9) and coaxial to the central nozzle, to define an annular plasma flow. A peripheral nozzle (3) forms a second annular plasma flow. During operation, the central nozzle, electrode and the whole installation is isolated at the same electrical potential.
