<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image processing apparatus capable of preventing reverse side through input in the case of a double-sided thin paper original, while emphasizing fine lines. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a density determination processing section 42 for performing density determination and a pattern detection processing section 46 for deciding whether there are fine lines, thereby allowing two filter processing sections 43, 44 to output, while switching between the sections 43, 44 using an image switching processing section 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
