<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a framework enabling to obtain higher educational effects by adequately controlling synchronous education and asynchronous education when providing educational services using a virtual space system. <P>SOLUTION: The virtual space system, in which a plurality of users can share a virtual space via a network and the virtual space is set up as an educational facility, is provided with an asynchronous lesson function enabling each student to asynchronously take lessons based on previously stored teaching material data, a synchronous lesson function enabling each student synchronously take lessons while mutually exchanging information with other students and teachers by using prescribed communication functions, and a managing function for managing, referring to the database storing the attendance state of students, use of each lesson function to students according to the attendance state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
