摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon black for an electrode of a battery or an electric double layer-type capacitor wherein the battery or the electric double layer-type capacitor superior in a capacity, heavy loading characteristic, and cycle characteristic can be manufactured.

SOLUTION: This is the carbon black used as the electrode composition of the battery or the electric double layer-type capacitor, and the micropore width is in a range from 4.0 to 8.0 Å and the maximum value of the micropore volume is from 0.060 to 0.135 ml/Å/g when the micropore volume led from a relational curve between a micropore volume and a micropore width becomes to have the maximum value.
