PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly adjust the leakage inductance of a switching transformer.
SOLUTION: The codes 117a, 117b represent E ferrite cores (E cores) which constitute the main magnetic circuit, and 119a, 119b represent I ferrite cores (pass cores) composing the magnetic circuit for bypassing. The sizes L2 and T2 of the pass cores 119 (a, b) are made larger than the size L1 of the E core and the distance T1 between the outer leg of the E core and the center leg of the bobbin, respectively. The pass cores 119a, 119b are sandwiched by the butting surfaces (butt joint) of a pair of E cores 117a, 117b. A bobbin 118 for winding the wire has a separator 118a at the center to reduce the coupling of the primary and the secondary coils and can secure the insulation distance of the windings by inserting pass cores 119 (a, b).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
|
