<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy required for operating a humidity controller, in the humidity controller carrying out batch operation. <P>SOLUTION: The humidity controller is provided with two adsorption elements 81, 82 and a coolant circuit. The humidity controller alternately repeats a first action for dehumidifying air by the first adsorption element 81 and regenerating the second adsorption element 82, and a second action for regenerating the first adsorption element 81 and dehumidifying the second adsorption element 82. In the coolant circuit, a freezing cycle is carried out. In a regenerative heat exchanger 102, heat exchange is conducted between coolant and second air. In first or second heat exchanger 103, 104, heat exchange is conducted between the coolant and first air dehumidified by the adsorption elements 81, 82.
