PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic sensitive body with a flange which facilitates the press-fitting of the flange to which an earth plate is attached into an opening end part of photosensitive drum, has a high operability, hardly damages the flange and hardly causes a deformation of the earth plate and flange. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic sensitive body is provided with a photosensitive drum which is made by forming a photosensitive layer including photoconductive material on the outer peripheral surface of conductive cylindrical base body, a resin flange having a fitting part which is fitted into the opening end part of the photosensitive drum and a conductive earth plate which is attached to the inside of the fitting part of the resin flange and is brought into contact with the cylindrical base body and the rotation shaft respectively in order to electrically earth the cylindrical base body. Therein, the conductive earth plate is projected outward from the fitting part almost on the middle position of the axial length of the outer peripheral part of the fitting part and is brought into contact with the inside surface of the base body.
