PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission cable of improved productivity, where propagation delay speed difference within a pair and between pairs is reduced even if a plurality of pairs of signal line pair is bundled. SOLUTION: A pair of signal wires 5 constitutes a signal wire pair 7, and two signal wire pairs 7 are unit-twisted to constitute a signal wire pair unit 3 having almost a circular shape in the cross section, thus a collective cable is constituted. Since the signal wire pair unit 3 has almost a circular shape in the cross section, the tension is almost evenly applied to each of the signal wires 5 when twisted. So it is easily worked into a signal cable 1 with equal- length of signal wire pairs 7, resulting in stable and improved electric characteristics of the transmission cable 1. Since each signal wire pair 7 has an equal length, the skew characteristics within a pair and between pairs decreases. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
