摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bloody-egg inspection mechanism which is mounted on an automatic egg sorting and packaging system, by which a bloody egg can be inspected with high accuracy irrespective of an eggshell color and which can be mounted in a plurality of rows of conveyance processes in the sorting and packaging system. SOLUTION: The bloody-egg inspection mechanism 1 is constituted of an automatic optical- path changeover part 20 in which eggs E1 arranged transversely in a group of eggs conveyed in a plurality of rows so as to constitute one row are irradiated sequentially with beams of white light 11; projection optical fibers 3b which guide the beams of white light 11; light receiving optical fibers 6 which receive beams of transmitted light 12 from the eggs so as to be transmitted to a spectral element 7; a light detecting element 8 which converts a light signal by wavelength so as to output an analog spectrum; an analog/digital converter 9 which converts the analog spectrum into a digital spectrum; a computing mechanism 10; and the like. A spectral spectrum of each egg is measured so as to create a quadratic differential curve, and eggshell colors are sorted. In each sorting operation, a spectral spectrum of an egg to be inspected is compared with spectral spectrum of a normal egg, similarities of patterns are classified by a correlation analytical method or the like, and the egg is identified whether bloody or not.
