PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device 1, in which a member fixing a joint filler 3 can be covered without the thick coating of a wall-surface finishing material H and which has an excellent appearance after a finishing, can prevent the dirt of rain traces or the like for a prolonged term and is proper to the construction of a wall surface. SOLUTION: The joint device is composed of the fixing member 2 having sections to be engaged 24 on both upper and lower sides and the joint filler 3, in which engaging sections 32 are formed on both upper and lower sides and which has a throating piece 35 projected to a section lower than the engaging section 32 on the lower side. The joint filler 3 is fitted externally to the fixing member 2 by fitting the engaging section 32 for the joint filler 3 to the section to be engaged 24 of the fixing member 2 fixed onto a backing surface S.
