DISTRIBUTION INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD, APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution information providing method and apparatus, and a program thereof by which users can easily confirm purchased video contents and video contents having been purchased or not yet viewed.

SOLUTION: A storage means 21 of the distribution information providing apparatus 20 stores information with respect to purchased video contents by each video program by each user. Each video program comprises video contents in a plurality of purchase units. When a notice request reception means 24 receives a notice request of a purchase state from a user, a purchased video contents extract means 26 extracts the purchased video contents of the user from the information with respect to each video contents in a purchased purchase unit stored in the storage means 21 and further extracts the video contents within a viewing available period therefrom. A notice means 27 generates list display information as to the video contents extracted and purchased within the viewing available period and informs a user apparatus 10 about it.
