PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device for controlling the transfer of data from an information providing device to the terminal device without requiring complicated processings.

SOLUTION: A communication program 92 controls the reception of information for a button corresponding to the operation of the terminal device, including data showing that the button is depressed, data showing the number of the button and data showing the position of the button, transmitted from the terminal device. A button information analyzing program 93 determines the items of processings corresponding to the received information for the button, including starting the transmission of the data and stopping the transmission of the data. A server program 94 controls the transmission of the data to the terminal device in accordance with a result determined by the button information analyzing program 93.
