<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve construction efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A water collecting pipe is provided with a water collecting main pipe 12 and a large number of water collecting branch pipes 14. A plurality of water collecting branch pipes 14 are communicatingly connected to both side faces of the water collecting main pipe 12 so as to project in a horizontal direction. A communicating connection part between the water collecting main pipe 12 and the water collecting branch pipe 14 is provided with a connecting joint. The joint has a pair of upper and lower joint pieces 22, 24 of substantially the same constitution in the form of being bisected in the axial center. In connecting the water collecting branch pipe 14 in the communicating manner to the water collecting main pipe 12, a pair of water collecting main pipes 12 are butt-placed on a large-diameter half cylinder part 24a of the lower joint piece 24, and the end parts of a pair of water collecting branch pipes 14 are placed on a small-diameter half cylinder part 24b of the lower joint piece 24. A large-diameter half cylinder part 22a of the upper joint piece 22 is then put on the upper parts of the water collecting main pipes 12, and a small-diameter half cylinder part 22b is put on the upper parts of the water collecting branch pipes 14.
