PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus for vehicle capable of accurately displaying an image around a vehicle including a coupled vehicle such as a trailer without distortion. SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: an image composite means 4 that composites the entire image around the vehicle 200 by using an image around a first coupled vehicle 201A freely flexibly coupled to a second coupled vehicle 201B and an image around the second coupled vehicle 201B, the images being respectively composed from imaging data photographed by a plurality of cameras 11 or the like, in response to the coupled angle between the first coupled vehicle 201A and the second coupled vehicle 201B detected by a coupled angle detection means 3; and a display means 5 for displaying the composite image.
