<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that fine adjustment cannot be carried out in correcting image quality by using an automatic image quality adjusting function, and that image correction is difficult to be carried out, without using the automatic image quality adjusting function. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises an image input means U1 for inputting image data, a keyword input means U5 for inputting a region designating a keyword which is expressed by a keyword with which a man can understand image processing in a sensitive way and designating a region to be corrected for the image and a processing selection keyword for showing the correcting contents, and an image correction means U6 for determining a processing region to be subjected to correction processing among image data, on the basis of the region designating keyword and applying correction processing to the image data in the processing region, on the basis of the processing selection keyword. Since image correction is performed in a sensitive way by using the keywords which are understandable in a sensitive way, a user can easily correct image according to his preference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
