<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a working distance even when an optical information processor is oscillating by recording, reproducing or erasing of the information on media. <P>SOLUTION: A part of laser beams emitted from laser beam sources 1, 2 is reflected by the micro lens 9 arranged in the course of optical paths 4, 5 to irradiate the media 3 with the laser beam, and in accordance with the interference fringes formed by this reflected laser beam and the laser beam reflected by the media 3, the distance (working distance) between the micro lens 9 and the media 3 is obtained.
