<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive a driving mechanism for a piezoelectric actuator for rotating and driving a rotor by the vibration of a piezoelectric element so that a driving force is applied to the rotor in a balanced manner to improve the rotation accuracy and durability of the actuator. <P>SOLUTION: On the premise of the piezoelectric actuator for intermittently driving the rotor by repeating expanding/shrinking operations of the piezoelectric element, a stator consisting of a fixed body on the center, three or more elastic spokes and rings is concentrically arranged on the upper part of the rotor having a longitudinal axis being rotatably supported by a bearing; the lower end surfaces of the rings face the conical surface of the rotor whose upper surface is the conical surface via a microgap; the element is arranged in its tangential direction outside the ring of the stator; the end of the element abuts against a pressurizing portion protruding from the ring in an outside direction of a radius direction; and the element is a driving body for intermittently pushing and moving the ring in a rotation direction by its expanding/shrinking movement in a longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
