<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling embedded air conditioner eliminating the need of chippings processing, when an opening to which an optional article is attached is formed, and improving carriage efficiency at the time of stacking and carrying thermal insulator and to provide a manufacturing method for the ceiling embedded air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: This ceiling embedded air conditioner comprises a sheet metal casing 11 suspended from a ceiling, the thermal insulator in the casing 11, and a blower 3 and a heat exchanger 5 inside of the thermal insulator. In the ceiling embedded air conditioner, the thermal insulator is separately composed of a pair of styrofoam end members disposed in a lateral side of the casing, and a connecting member 13B disposed in a longitudinal side of the casing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
