<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a gas diffusion electrode for a fuel cell, and the fuel cell, wherein inconveniences that carbon fibers damage electrolyte films are advantageously suppressed, and wherein improvement of the power generation performance of the fuel cell and the life-elongation of the electrolyte and the fuel cell can be aimed at. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet forming process to form a sheet 400 mainly composed of the carbon fibers, and a gas diffusion electrode forming process to form the gas diffusion electrode based on the sheet 400 formed in the sheet forming process are carried out. In the sheet forming process, by rotating a round net 200 in a state of being soaked in a liquid material 100 so that a part of the round net 200 is exposed from the liquid face of the liquid material 100 of a container 120, the carbon fibers and basic materials of the liquid material 100 are made to be accumulated on a net body 250 of the round net 200 and the sheet 400 containing the carbon fibers and the basic materials are formed, and immediately after the sheet 400 is exposed from the liquid face 102 of the liquid material 100, a rotating roller 300 is pressed against the sheet 400, and the amount of liquid dispersion medium contained in the sheet 400 is decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
