<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a receiving terminal to receive right digital data regardless of a communication environment only by once transmitting the digital data from a transmitter. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission server 1 performs digital broadcasting over a wide band through a digital communication network 3 to each of receiving terminals 2a, 2b...2n. The receiving terminals 2a, 2b...2n each confirm whether the digital data can be rightly received or not from error detection information added to the digital data received from the transmission server 1. For example, a communication means in the receiving terminal 2a communicates with communication means in the transmission server 1 and the other receiving terminals 2b...2n and reports a communication status of the receiving terminal 2a itself. When the receiving terminal 2a confirms that there is an omission in the received digital data, the omitted digital data are complemented from the receiving terminal 2b of the predetermined high priority.
