PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling a liquid developer by which an apparatus for recycling the liquid developer can be made smaller in size as much as possible. SOLUTION: A resist component 8 having large molecular weight is removed by a UF membrane or a MF membrane or an apparatus 6 of electrodialysis or the like and then a sodium carbonate solution 7 from which the resist having large molecular weight is removed is directly charged in a developing tank 1.
