PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost flexible printed circuit which can shield itself from electromagnetic noises. SOLUTION: In the flexible printed circuit (10), provided with a flexible base layer (11) having a principal surface (11a), a conductor layer (13) formed on the principal surface of the base layer via a first bonding agent (12), and a coverlay (15) formed on the conductor layer via a second bonding agent (14), a copper foil (22) stuck on the coverlet is soldered to a ground portion (110). When such a flexible printed circuit (10) is used in order to thereby connect electrically an optical-disk drive body and an optical pickup (100) having a high-frequency superimposing circuit (200), the copper foil (22) so serves as to shield the flexible printed circuit (10) from the electromagnetic noises radiated from the high-frequency superimposing circuit (200).
