<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating volume images with different resolutions from a single projection data set. <P>SOLUTION: This method has a step 1 for imaging a set of two-dimensional projection images imaged partly with low resolution and partly with high resolution, a step (down-scaling) 3 for converting the projection images of high resolution so that they have equal scale, equal scanning rate, and equal resolution as the projection images of low resolution, and steps 4 and 2 for generating three-dimensional volume images with low resolution from the projection images of low resolution and from the converted projection images, and generating volume images of high resolution projection images of high resolution by using the projection images of high resolution as clues. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
