<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a photoreceptor drum and an electrifying roller from being worn and deteriorated by suppressing the influence of the electrifying roller on the rotation of the photoreceptor drum due to contact between the electrifying roller and the photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: When an image forming operation including an electrifying operation is performed, 1st, 2nd and 3rd driving shafts 500, 501 and 502 are moved toward a driven shaft 207 by rotating a surface cam 603, and a friction disc 503 is brought into press contact with a friction receiving disc 208, a driving force from a driving motor 600 is transmitted to the core bar 8a of the electrifying roller 8, on the other hand, when an image forming operation is not performed, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd driving shafts 500, 501 and 502 are moved opposite to the driven shaft 207 by rotating the surface cam 603, and the friction disc 503 is separated from the friction receiving disc 208, and then, the driving force from the driving motor 600 is released from being transmitted to the core bar 8a of the electrifying roller 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
