PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for preventing the door of an automatic vending machine from being forcedly opened by any tool. SOLUTION: This lock device of an automatic vending machine is provided with a fixed hook metal fitting 3 vertically long from the upper part to lower part of an entrance at a main body 1 side of an automatic vending machine and a spring 6 repulsive to a lock plate 4 having a hinge part 5 formed inside the door 2 oppositely to the fixed frame metal fitting 3, and the long fixed hook metal fitting 3 and the hook of the lock plate 4 are engaged with each other, and fully screwed into each other so as to be locked. Furthermore, a handle connected through a lever to the lock plate 4 formed at the hinge part inside the door is provided with a key lock, and a key is inserted into the key hole so as to be unlocked or locked, and the door opening and closing is made by the handle.
