PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information terminal equipment which makes it possible to vocally operate information retrieval on the Internet, etc., without constructing any large system. SOLUTION: The information terminal equipment is provided with: a language analyzing means 2 which analyzes a character string for speech recognition from an information terminal description language; a recognized character string analyzing means 5 which generates a speech-recognized word from the analysis result; and a similarity decision means 7 which decides the similarity of the generated recognized word by comparing it with other recognized words and newly generates a speech-recognized word with different similarity from the information terminal description language for a word judged to have high similarity. The information terminal equipment is further provided with: a feature extracting means 12 which generates a speech feature quantity from an input voice; a collation means 10 which collates the speech feature quantity with a speech recognition dictionary generated from speech-recognized words; and a result indicating means 13 which instructs input to a link destination described in the information terminal description language according to the collation result.
