PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device which allows efficient wiring work. SOLUTION: This opening/closing device 17 is equipped with an opening/ closing body 64 for opening/closing an outdoor side part of an opening 15 and an opening/closing body operating means 65 for operating the opening/closing body 64. The means 65 and an indoor switch unit 71 are electrically connected together by control wires 72. Intermediate parts of the control wires 72 are inserted into rail notched parts 34 of a sill 24 with a rail, which guides sliding door bodies 41 and 42 for opening/closing an indoor side part of the opening 15.
