<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing, in which sealing sheets can be simply attached without using a large device such as a press jig, and the roundness of the outer ring is not reduced by the attachment of the sealing sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing 31 comprises an inner ring 39 fitted unrotatably relative to a rotation shaft, an outer ring 35 rotatable relative to the inner ring 39 by means of a rolling element 41, inside peripheral grooves 45 provided in the peripheral direction on both ends of the inside periphery of the outer ring 35, annular sealing sheets 51, outside peripheral grooves 59, and a polygonal wire 63. The sealing sheets 51 are placed at both ends of the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 35 to partition in and out the space, in which the rolling element 41 is placed, with the inside periphery close to the outer peripheral surface of both ends of the inner ring 39. The grooves 59 are provided in opposition to the grooves 45 on the outside periphery surface of the sealing sheet 51. The polygonal wire 63 is bent at a plurality of angles along the peripheral direction of the sealing sheet 51 to be held in the grooves 59 and the angle parts are inserted in the grooves 45 of the outer ring 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
