PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station capable of automatically correcting the dispersion of gain in an overhead amplifier and the dispersion of transmission loss due to the length, kind and maintenance conditions, etc., of a feeder and reducing the errors of the gain to received signals as much as possible. SOLUTION: This radio base station 10 is provided with the overhead amplifier 1 having a terminator 12e and an antenna 11 for selecting, then amplifying and outputting a signal 22 which is either a first signal 21 inputted from the terminator 12e or a second signal 15 inputted from the antenna 11. Also, the radio base station 10 is provided with a base station receiver 14 connected to the overhead amplifier 12 for setting first gain 30 to the first signal 21 by adjusting the strength 24 of the first signal 21 so as to turn the strength 24 of the first signal 21 to a predetermined prescribed value 25 when the first signal 21 is inputted from the overhead amplifier 12 and adjusting the strength 19 of the second signal 15 on the basis of the set first gain 30 when the second signal 15 is inputted from the overhead amplifier 12.
